On Monday, former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci — who couldn't even withstand 11 days in the role — hosted a launch party for The Scaramucci Post in Manhattan where he dined, mingled, and told reporters he has no idea what he's doing yet.

"We have absolutely no idea what The Scaramucci Post is and neither do you, but we launched it today and we launched it with great fanfare and we’ll have to see how everything goes," Mooch told The Hill reporter Taylor Lorenz after she asked him to explain what the media outlet is in 10 seconds.

As Buzzfeed reported, the former communications director used the Q&A portion of the evening to further baffle reporters. "I am looking you dead in the face and saying I don't know," Scaramucci said when asked again what his project is.

When asked for even furtherclarification, Scaramucci told reporters to simply, "Say Scaramucci has absolutely no idea what he’s doing, and he has absolutely no idea what Scaramucci Post is." So there you have it, everyone.

The Mooch announced the outlet on Twitter back in September, advising the world to "get ready," but for what? We still have no idea.

The Scaramucci Post is all about millennials

While the Mooch doesn't know what the outlet will be, he knows it'll be geared toward millennials, have no website, and distribute content solely through social platforms like Facebook and Twitter, as well as through livestreaming tools.

It has no journalists

It seems the Mooch will be putting a lot of effort into his outlet, because, um, he has no journalists working for him at the moment.

It's planning to be a good middle ground for news

Mooch seems to be trying to fill a space between far right and far left news coverage, so we'll see how that goes for him.

According to Buzzfeed,Scaramucci told reporters at the event, "I think that there’s a wide open space in the middle that is not being served. It’s the Walter Cronkite space. It’s the space in the middle where there's a level of objectivity."

The outlet will also apparently have "editorial standards," but will occasionally "get things wrong" — as one does.

It's kind of like cold brew

"It’s going to be plain vanilla news that is unfiltered, cold brew news, if you want to say," Scaramucci reportedly said.

Yep. That makes sense. Sure.

The Mooch isn't afraid to go big

Just as he's taking a risk with his career, Scaramucci went unreasonably big when it came to party appetizers. Just look at these giant tots and popovers!

Perhaps he's finally learned if you don't go big you go home in 10 days.
