Donald Trump Halloween costumes have film sex videos baratbeen around for years, and I'm extremely sick of seeing them.

Dressing as Trump for Halloween is officially tired, but you can still prove your love of politics this Oct. 31 with far more creative ensembles. We promise.

From 2020 candidates and other politics-adjacent people, to outfits inspired by tweets, television shows, and more, here are 13 Halloween costume ideas to consider this year that, crucially, are not Donald Trump.

1. Green Shirt Guy

The unlikeliest political hero of 2019 thus far is undoubtedly Alex Kack, the man who wore a green shirt to a Tucson, Arizona, City Council meeting and was seen laughing uncontrollably at two protesters.

#GreenShirtGuy trended online and Kack and his bright green Original Penguin polo shirt became a heroic symbol for the laughable state of 2019 politics. This Halloween, why not dress as him by wearing khaki pants, a green shirt, and a mustache?

2. The redacted Mueller report

In April, former FBI director Robert Mueller's 448-page report on findings from the Special Counsel investigation into Donald Trump and his administration's involvement with Russia was made public, but that didn't mean we could read it all. Significant portions of the report were redacted with black bars, and in many cases, the words "Harm to Ongoing Matter" were written beside large chunks of blacked out text.

Twitter users had a blast making redacted Mueller Report memes, so why not keep the fun going and turn it into a Halloween costume? You can dress in all black and tape a paper with the words "Harm to Ongoing Matter" on your shirt, or opt for a simple black and white striped shirt and label yourself as "The Mueller Report."

3. A whistleblower

Ah, the easiest costume on this list and perhaps in the entire world: A whistleblower. Fall has been full of whistleblower talk after a White House whistleblower filed a report against Trump. The report called out a phone call that Trump had with the President of Ukraine and caused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to file an impeachment inquiry. The costume may seemsmall, since all that's required to pull it off is... a whistle, but it's a history-making one!

4. Chrissy Teigen (and/or John Legend)

These days, Chrissy Teigen and her husband, singer John Legend, are often making headlines alongside Donald Trump. Whether Chrissy is owning the president on Twitter or John is speaking out in a documentary about mass incarceration, the two have made it clear they aren't afraid to join the political conversation. So if you're in search of a badass, politically-adjacent woman, man, or couple to channel this Halloween, look no further.

5. The Prince (or Princess) of Whales

Trump is known for poor grammar and spelling mishaps in his tweets, and one of his most memorable mistakes of the year was when he referred to the Prince of Wales as the Prince of Whales. You know, like the animal. The typo inspired a flurry of memes, and also this great halloween costume.

You can easily dress as the Prince, or Princess, of "Whales" by buying a tiara or crown to wear and a plush whale to carry around, or perhaps investing in a whale-patterned dress or shirt. Get creative with your royal attire and be sure to print out Trump's now deleted tweet (featured above) so you can show it to anyone who inquires about your costume.

6. The other 2020 candidates

We crossed Donald Trump off the list of potential costumes, but the other 2020 presidential candidates are still options.

Instead of dressing as Beto O'Rourke skateboarding like last year, consider dressing as Beto building an igloo or live-streaming from the dentist. You can be Elizabeth Warren by wearing a sweater, holding a list of plans the size of a CVS receipt, and running and waving. You can even make a costume inspired by Mayor Pete Buttigieg's food-filled trip to the state fair. Simply choose your favorite candidate and one of their most costume-worthy campaign moments and you can spend your Halloween getting everyone pumped for the 2020 election.

7. A salad and a comb

In February, the New York Timespublished a story that detailed several concerning behaviors exhibited by 2020 presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar — including poor treatment of her staffers and a time when she reportedly ate a salad with a comb in absence of a fork.

After the anecdote dropped, Comb Salad memes flooded Twitter, and the public was left with numerous questions. Which kind of comb did she use? Why didn't she simply use her fingers to pick up the lettuce? We may never know, but we can use this bizarre 2019 story to create a creative couple halloween costume — a salad and a comb.

8. Chris Evans' Twitter account

Donald Trump has a few loyal celebrity Twitter critics — including Chrissy, Cher, and Stephen King — but one of the most consistent is actor Chris Evans. Evans calls Trump out for everything from typos to not understanding climate change and global warming, and is consistently firm, fierce, and brutally honesty in his delivery. I guess you can always dress as Captain America to honor Evans, but that's been done before so why not print out some of his best Trump tweets, attach them to your clothes, and go as his entire Twitter account?

9. A TV politician

If a real-world politician is simply too, well, real to dress as this Halloween, why not show a television politician some love? You can dress as Randall Pearson from This Is Us, who recently won an election for Philadelphia City Councilman. There’s Claire from House of Cards or Selena Meyer from Veep if you’re looking to dress as a powerful woman in the White House. The characters on Netflix’s The Politician are all fiery and stylish as hell. And if you simply want to wear a vest I guess there’s always Connor from Succession, who claims he’s running for president. (We’ll believe it when we see it, dude.)

10. Nickelback

Look at this old photograph of Nickelback. Every time I do I think, "Hey, that Canadian rock band would make a great group costume in the year 2019." Why? Well, Trump tweeted a Nickelback meme earlier this month. Remember? The President of the United States shared videos on his Twitter and the official White House YouTube channel that featured a parodied clip from the band's "Photograph" music video, along with part of the song, and a photo of Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Within hours of posting, both videos were removed due to copyright complaints, but the band still received a lot of attention. It wasn't even Nickelback's first political shoutout of the year, though, as the band also discussed on the House floor back in March. A very timely costume!

11. The good old constitution

With all the talk of treason, amendments, impeachment, and freedom this year, let's just say the Constitution has come up in conversation more than a few times. Consider taking a brief break from tweeting about the Constitution and dress up as the historic document to remind people about it instead. Or, if you want to be a bit less "in your face" about the whole thing, you can dress as a founding father holdingthe Constitution.

12. A Sharpie marker

Tired: Crayon Halloween costumes. Wired: Sharpie Halloween costumes.

Trump and Sharpie markers shared quite a few headlines this year after the president was accused of editing an enlarged map of Hurricane Dorian's projected path. Days earlier he tweeted to announce that Dorian was headed to Alabama, and when that turned out not to be the case, it appears he took matters (in this case, a Sharpie) into his own hands. You and some pals can dress as Sharpies, but sadly a Sharpie costume doesn't seem to exist in stores so you'll have to make it a DIY job.

13. Impeachment

The peach emoji has been used a lot in 2019 when discussing imPEACHment, so if you're looking to lighten the mood a bit this Halloween, consider dressing as a peach. Perhaps you can even wear a "Peach" name tag so when people ask what you are you can reply, "I'm peach." Get it? Impeach. Haha.
