PASADENA —?Boston Court Pasadena’s New Play Reading Festival will present “You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World!” by Keiko Green on Sunday, July 21, at 12 p.m.
In this funny, biting, moving piece of meta-theatricality, M’s small family feels the pressure of time running out.
Green is a playwright, screenwriter, and performer based out of Los Angeles and Seattle. Her Keiko Green plays have been developed by the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, the Kennedy Center, National New Play Network, Playwrights Realm, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Atlantic Theatre Company. She holds commissions from the Old Globe and Manhattan Theatre Club/Sloan Foundation.
She is a writer for “Interior Chinatown,” an upcoming TV series about an Asian American actor struggling against clichéd roles and stereotypes, both at work and in his personal life.
As an actor, Green has performed at the Denver Center of Performing Arts, Seattle Repertory Theatre, ACT Theatre, NAATCO, and others. Her TV credits include “Wrecked,” “Grimm” and “Z Nation.”
