WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris posted on social media on May 10, “Night markets are a celebration of community. They bring us together over shared love of family, friends, and food. It was my honor to host a night market at the Vice President’s Residence in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.”
One of the participants, Michiko Okuma, posted, “I was so blessed with the opportunity to showcase our origami works at the market. It was truly an honor for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience!”
