No. 5 seed San Diego State enters the matchup 25-10 overall. Most recently, SDSU beat UAB 69-65 on Friday in the tournament’s first round. Jaedon LeDee led San Diego State with 32 points and eight rebounds in the victory. 

No. 13-seeded Yale comes into the contest 23-9 overall. On Friday, Yale defeated Auburn 78-76 in the opening round of the tournament. John Poulakidas led Yale with 28 points in the win.
