Exact dates for other international territories have yet to be announced.
"While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration," said Universal Pictures in a statement.
"Moving will allow our global family to experience our new chapter together. We’ll see you next spring."
The decision makes F9the latest addition to a growing list of spring releases pushed back over COVID-19.
Previously, Sony moved No Time to Diefrom April to November and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runawayfrom April to August, while Paramount pulled A Quiet Place Part IIfrom its March calendar.
