If you wanna be ?? ?? ???a Spice Girl, you gotta get into character and buy tickets to a concert. Everyone, including actress Blake Lively, knows that.
Like many cool, music-loving girls in the late '90s, Lively dreamed of being a Spice Girl — Baby Spice, to be exact. And thanks to the occasionally magical powers of the internet, we have photographic proof.

But then, clearly unable to stop reminiscing about her love of the girl group, Lively also shared the photo to Instagram with the caption, "Pretending to be someone else... since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton).

Lively tagged Emma Lee Bunton — better known to fans by her nickname "Baby Spice" — in both the comment and the photo, and then a miracle straight out of 1997 happened: Baby Spice replied.
The commentsbycelebs account showed that the Spice Girl herself took note of the photo, saying it was extremely cute and that Lively was "rocking" her signature pigtails. And as is to be expected by any true fan, Lively freaked the hell out.
The actress, who's now "officially dead" wrote to Baby Spice, saying, "Forever bowing down to you. I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal."
