I was strictly using a hand mixer up until last month when I acquired my grandma's old KitchenAid stand mixer. It's much cheaper than a KitchenAid stand mixer and is super versatile to aid in making cookie dough, cake batter, whipped cream, mashed potatoes, or even shredding chicken.
