The Orange Coast Optimist Club and Tanaka Farms hosted the annual Walk the Farm charity event in Irvine on Saturday. Since 2011, the gathering has raised funds for farmers to rebuild, for agricultural students to receive scholarships, and for new farmers to receive much-needed assistance. Beneficiaries of this year’s event include farming families on the fire-ravaged lands of Maui.
